About Me
I was born in April 1964 in South Wales.
My Dad was a Flt Lt in the Royal Air Force and after I was born, he was posted
up North to a station in Yorkshire. This formed the pattern of my early life,
where we stayed somewhere about 3 years and then moved on. My parents were told
that my brother and I would either become introvert or cope and become extrovert!!
Your Guess!
Our final posting was to Pembrokeshire (also known as Dyfed) where my brother and I had the pick of over 5
really first class beaches! Needless to say - we had fun. I went to college in Newport, where I met my husband-to-be
and the rest, as they say, is history!

Other Links:
Not strictly hobbies, these are things I enjoy or think are important.
- The
Chocolate Tasting Club (Official Home Page) - This ... is ... fabulous!
Seriously, if you enjoy chocolate try these!
- Google
- is your friend!
- World
Vision not to mention the Alternative
Gift Catalogue - I've sponsored a succession of kids in a variety of
different places. This is NOT hard and it's a way of helping others and
their wider community start to stand on their own feet.
- Sealed
Knot - An English Civil War (17th Century) re-enactment society, which
we used to be a part of (pre-children). It was a lot of fun and I miss it
a little but my days are pretty full at the moment.
-
Gerald Durrell's Jersey Wildlife Trust - Something I can remember being
a part of for an awfully long time! (I was a member of the Dodo Club
to begin with). I have visited the trust at least twice and was always
deeply impressed with the work being done. Durrell's books are another set
that I really enjoyed reading and I wanted to help give something back.
It was a shock when he died, but it's lovely to see his legacy and dream
still continuing.
