Bit of Background
Role playing, also know as Dungeons & Dragons, or D&D, but there are now games to cover all periods of history and literature! You can become anything your imagination wants to be and somewhere, out there, are the rules you can use to create the character and the game!
I met my husband through role playing, he'd set up a club at college and the rest, as they say, is history! I've always loved being able to suspend belief and become someone else. I used to enjoy Amateur Dramatics for the same reason
